Affie ("we", "us") provides an AI service that drafts and posts replies to Google reviews for businesses. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data we collect

• Google sign-in data: your email address, name and profile picture, used to create and identify your account. We store this information in our database for as long as your account exists, and we keep a record of your sign-up and last sign-in times.
• Google Business Profile data: if you connect your profile, we access your business locations and their reviews and replies.
• Account and billing data: your plan and subscription status.
• Setup and settings data: your chosen business location, reply rules, tone and writing details, alert preferences (including the email address you give us) and your chosen plan.

2. Google Business Profile access

We request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage scope. We use it only to read reviews on your locations and to post replies that you have approved (or that you have chosen to have auto-posted for high-star reviews). We do not use it for any other purpose.

3. AI-generated reply drafts

Review text and basic business details are sent to an AI language model to generate draft replies. Drafts may be inaccurate, so you are responsible for approving what is posted. We do not use your Google user data to train generalised AI models.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

Affie's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to provide and improve the user-facing review reply features; we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or with your consent; we do not use it for advertising; and humans do not read it unless you ask, for security, or to comply with law.

4a. Cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-SLWCFV345K) to understand how visitors use our site, for example which buttons are clicked. It sets cookies in your browser and collects usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. We also use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. Google Analytics data is not Google user data from your Business Profile.

5. No selling of data

We do not sell your personal data or Google user data.

6. Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run Affie (such as hosting and AI model providers), bound by confidentiality obligations.

7. Retention, deletion and revocation

You can revoke Affie's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete your account and data, email hello@advark.ai; we will delete it within 30 days, except where we must retain records by law.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect your data.
